After power outtage my f/p washer is dead -no lights nothing
Is there a fuse or reset button on fischer paykai top load washers. had a power failure and now machine is dead. the machine was not in use at time of outtage but plugged in. now nothing no lights etc
Re: after power outtage my f/p washer is dead -no lights...
Only reset is to unplug it. Are you sure you have power at the outlet? If you have 120V at the outlet the power surge may have blown the controller, not a cheap fix :(

Their is a fuse in the harness red wire that runs down from the control to the motor on the hydrowave washer. Hydrowave washer manual Of course if yours isn't a hydrowave maybe you oughta post a model number. GE has several different styles.
hello it might have blew the glass fuse in side the washer it's located on the power supply board .but beware if you put another 1 in and it blows again then theres a dead short somewhere good luck
OK legendsinc sounds like you motor control unit has blowen and due to age of machine i would not be at all surprised if your seals and bearings have gone, cheak under machine for a brown ring around the casing this is an idicator for failed main seal. Also the big give away is nosy on spin
a small run of these actually had an out of balance switch and fuse assembly that cut power to the machine if it went way out of balance ,check and see if yours has one and replace the fuse at first but you may have to replace the entire assembly
