You have a choice...toss out the wife or the freezer! JUST Kidding....The wife did noting wrong and the problem should have nothing to do with the defrosting unless waste water found its way into the electrical controls. Usually when a freezer starts and suddenly stops, it is due to the compressor not functioning properly. The compressor must have the correct Freon gas pressure, line pressure, and other elements in order to function. This can be checked by a technician with test equipment that you do not possess. Do IT!
I have the original manual for the Franklin Chef Rotisserie #FHR6800 - email me @ [email protected] to set up Better to have original manual then to have a machine you can't sell or use properly...right? This is not a scam!!! I will email you in "PDF" or regular email to you. These manuals seem to be in high demand, no copyright infringement as this is a start w/partial manual then continuing to a full/complete manual transaction.
Hi, It sounds as though the compressor has stopped working on this unit. I would call the department of consumer affairs and give them the information that you do have and they will make sure you get you're warranty honored. They do not mess around!! Just get the number through you information number and they will get right on it as that is what they are there for. Keep me posted, Sincerely, Shastalaker7
