LG dare does not show artist name during playback. It only shows the song title. So, if I have a random playlist set up, with random artists, etc. I only see the song title during playback. If I want to know the artist, I have to dig a bit deeper into another folder. How can I get it so it show's the song title and artist on the main music player?

    That is how my files are all named. I open a folder in windows and they are 01. artist name-song title.



    When I sync up with my LG Dare, it will only show the song title during play back. Also, in the LG dare music folder it removes the # and alphabetizes the songs. So, when I look up all my music in the "all songs" section, it only shows song titles.

Rename the file types as follows (artist name - song title.mp3) example (Lit - Miserable.mp3)

otherwise you must edit the song info in each indivicual song from your computer and add the artist name by right-clicking the file and selecting properties........thanks and pls rate this post

MP3 FILES LISTED AS UNKNOWN
Labeling Unkown Songs: open Windows Media Player and go to libary click on artist. The sub folders will be named by the artists and the unknown songs will be in the sub that say's unknown. Click on unknown then right click on the title bar put a check next to artist and album artist. Right click song under artist or album artist or both and type in the name of the artist etc.... This change in your computers Music folders also then syc with your sansa or media player then load songs to it........

Changing file names and creating playlists
Changing the filename won't change to artist, title, album ext... The easiest way I know of to change this is with MediaMonkey, a free media player. Click the link and install and open Mediamonkey. Find your MP3 player on the left side to browse the music. Highlight the music that you want to change the artist for in your MP3 player, right click>Properties.
You can also create playlists with MediaMonkey.

Ipod classic won't sync with all songs / artists in my library
Have you tried right-clicking on one of the songs and choosing Get Info? I had some songs like that too and had to fill out the artist. After that it remembered the information even if I removed the song from my library and re-added it later.

Insignia sport 4 gig wont organize by artist
You will need to right click on the song file to see if the ID3 information is present.

Right-click, Properties, Summary tab.

You shoudl see a list of fields that you can populate manually, or you can try loading your audio files into a media manger program like iTunes, Media Monkey, WMP, etc and insure your song titles and album names are correct in the ID3 tag fields. Then, your files will appear correctly on your player.

Playlist and song selections?
You have to scroll down the music/artist/genre you want and instead of clicking the one you think ( which is the play button ) click the button with a big "M" on it to play the artist's song.

you could only change the name by right clicking it and select rename.. for the artist you cant unless you downlode a tag editor which you can edit the name, artist, track #.etc.

Artist showing up as unknown
In the cd's the artist isn't named and if you want the artists names you need to right click with your'e mouse and click rename, type the title and then the artist.
