According to the instruction manual, the feed dogs on your machine cannot be dropped. Instead, it uses a darning plate that prevents the feed dogs from grabbing the fabric (page 14):

ELNA Sew Fun Instruction Manual

The feed dogs on your machine do not drop. Instead, the machine has a darning plate that covers the feed dogs (see the accessories listed in the manual). If the darning plate is installed properly, it should prevent the feed dogs from contacting the fabric.

Make sure the stitch length dial is set @ 2 or higher. This will insure the fabric will move as the machine stitches.
