How do I transfer text messages from my Samsung SYNC A707(ATT) to my computer? PC Studio 3 does not support this. Jeyo Mobile companion cannot be used because it used ActiveSync and my phone has MagicSync v1.0.0 Can anyone help???

I am afraid that you cannot recover your telephone records, unless you've made a backup before update your omnia.

Next time you decide to upgrade your handset, backup all data first. You can use software such as Jeyo Mobile Companion, which can backup you contact, sms, and telephone log data.

Transfer to SIM car memory first. Use PC software to copy SIM card contents on harddrive. Use software with Samsung to copy the contents on hard drive onto your new mobile phone

once the message is deleted, its gone

It works with my sgh-a707 and might work for yours. They might have different software for yours so check that site out. all work is done by computer.

yes you casn read the text message on your computer which you have it in your cell phone. you will require a cable which connectes between computer and cell phone and a software of the mobile which you usually get when you buy a new mobile.there is a software cd which you get with a mobile just load that software cd on your pc and connect your mobile to the pc and you can read the text message, rate the solution. thanks.

You need a USB cable to connect the phone to the computer to transfer data. Then you need to download Samsung PC Studio for the Sync. Good luck!

you can transfer your text messages to your PC by installing a software on your PC called Jeyo Mobile Companion. download this software, install it and then connect your phone with the PC. once synchronized, you will be able to transfer all your text messages to your PC as a "Notepad" document! i hope this works for yah.. for your other question, go to start then settings, then "sounds and notifications", then go to the "notifications" tab, then in the "event" pull down menu select "messaging:new text message" and then check the "play sound" check box and then select any sound you would like. simple isn't it? ;)
