Need electric cord. I have an old proctor/silex percolator 12 cup model plate missing. Was my mom's must have been made in usa back then. Pot end is about one inch female plug. Ordered new cord from company wrong cord don't make this style anymore. Presto does, wondering if it would fit? Where can I get a replacement? tried using a cord found at second hand store. was loose fit worked for a while. burnt smell coming from cord now and fit is more loose. Hate to buy a new percolator with all the bad reviews on just about any pot made (in china).
You can find replacement cords for many counter top
appliances at most appliance and building supply stores. Try Ace, Home Depot, Lowes. Take the coffee maker with you to make sure you are getting the correct cord.
