how to unlock or open the sealed door

i fitted a new membrane panel /sticker to front panel this fixed the problem 1 year ago

1. Remove the lower panel under the door by loosening the three screws under the bottom edge on the front of the washer. HINT: If you prop up the front feet of the washer with some small blocks of wood, this will make access to the screws much easier.
2. With the screws removed, the lower panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, a light tap on either side will knock it loose.
3. Reach your hand up inside the washer behind the front casing on the right-hand side. This is where the door latch assembly is located.
4. At the bottom of the door latch assembly is a small pull tab. This is the manual release for the door. Pull the tab straight down and the door will come open.

unplug the washer an the door will open

Are you able to open the door ?if so door interlock switch could be at fault

have a front load mah9700a. Unit will not run door is locked , have found that control board shorted. Still need to open door manually, need a parts scheme to look on how to open????

Hold the 'options' and 'select' buttons down at the same time for several seconds, the thing will unlock.

remove bottom panel open pump port and ck for foreign objects lean washer toward rear wall this will help help keep water toward rear and reduce flooding floor might try opening door first and dipping out as much water as possible with bottom panel removed reach up to lock area there is a tear shaped plastic peace pull it down to release door

check the lock switch on the front load washer sometime it gets stuck
