I had my blower motor replaced on a Carrier Weathermaker SX (built in 1988) two months ago. It runs non-stop since it was fixed. It doesn't blow hot air all the time. I have the thermostat set on auto at 70 degrees. It heats it to 70 degrees then it quits blowing warm air and it blows cool air. My electric bill has been 50-60 dollars more per month since this started happening.
Sounds like they wired it direct to line voltage , it should run through a sequencer or fan relay to cycle on and off , your seq./relay could be stuck closed to but unlikely being it was just repaired , call the service company back before you do anything they are responsible.
Call the tech back who installed the motor.. It sounds like he wired the new motor wrong.
