The file corrupted problem

ok, are you looking for a program to open a .sis file?

You should have no issues actually downloading any file format.

Sis files are used to install software on mobile phones which use the Symbian operating system. That software would not run on a computer.

However, you can examine them on a PC. SIS Tool is a PC program for examining sis files (designed with the Sony Ericsson UIQ phones in mind). It shows you information about the selected sis file (including the size it will use on installation, version numbering and more).

Try to download another theme for 850 and try to install it in the phone, if it gets installed then the file is corrupt, indeed.

.sis is mostly supported by nokia mobiles

NO its not possible, only symbian OS recognize sis files.

1. Copy/paste jar file to the folder Other - When you do that then you can install it.
or
2. Use My phone explorer. It has an option (button) jar upload to the phone

Sorry but you cannot install .sis files on a W550i as they are symbian and the W550i does not support symbian, the W550i does support .jar files though.

You need to save them in the others folder. FYI, sis files won't run on your phone.

download this software in pc and install it converts sis file to java format

first download sis application then convert it to java and then use it in sony ericsson k 750i
