I have hp pavilion n5250 Laptop and aol find my modem I tryed all aol's fix it for me ideas help me please
If you are sure your modem drivers are installed (no YELLOW QUESTION MARKS when you access the device manager), try this;
My Computer/Right Click/Properties/Left Click/click Hardware tab/click Device Manager Tab/click Modem/go to properties/click TEST MODEM---this procedure should tell you that the modem PASSED or FAILED.
If the modem FAILED, it is defective and will need to be replaced.
