You need to reset the size of your pictures (to a lower resolution). This will allow the camera to take more pictures (albeit at a lower resolution) per memory card. The less pixels, the more pictures.

I just purchased a Kodak printer to print my digital pictures. When I try to look at the pictures wheather the memory chip is in the camera or directly in the printer it will only read 46 of the 200 or -...

If that's the case try connecting the the camera to your computer then print all the pictures then format your memory chip to make sure this is not a problem with the memory chip...

Hope that helps.......

It is only letting me take 10 to 15 pics then it says memory is full????

That's about right for the internal memory. If you want to be able to take more pictures, you need a memory card. A single memory card will let you take hundreds or thousands of pictures. Also, it's easier and faster to transfer pictures to your computer from a memory card than from a camera.

Won't take pictures anymore or erase them for more space for pics

What won't take pictures? If you have a memory card, it might be totally full, with no room left to work with anything. Connect it to your computer and remove the pictures one by one for about 10 of them. This should give you the resources you ned. If it's just the camera memory being used, you'll need a USB cable to try the same thing.

My hp photosmart M547 will not give me the 2000 pictures it can hold. It says that the memory is full after 10 pictures.

hi there
if it only holds 10 pics it is probably working off the 16meg internal memory and not your card which if it is a 6 gig will hold about 2000 medium res pics

hope this helps

I took about 200 pictures and they were suddenly deleted off my camera. i thought they were accidentally deleted. i took about 40 more pics and it said my memory card was full so i know they're still there...

get a memory card reader and try to download pics from card to comp-then open and click any folders you see related to memory card-card will show up as a new drive letter in my computer-pics may be in different folder and still be there-if you can't find pics at all go to sandisk.com and get recovery software to see if you can still retrive them

After taking 20 photos says memory card is full

You did not mention the make or model of the camera. Your symptoms seem to indicate you are using internal memory rather than the card. Card typically hold from 200-2,000 high quality photos (depending on the size of the card and the camera).

Another possibility is that you have a high end camera and are shooting in the RAW format. RAW is only for the more experienced users who post process their work. If this is the case switch to JPG.

Note reducing the picture size only makes the pictures lower quality and is only useful if you only post them on the web.

Cannot Copy {filename}: Parameters are incorrect

First suggestion: Make sure the battery in the camera is completely charged and try again.

Your best bet is to use the card reader when it arrives. Sounds like a corrupt file on the memory card. Be sure to completely format the card (not just erase pictures) after you successfully get the images off. And I suggest running through a complete set (full card) of images that you don't care about (shoot your backyard) before you trust that memory card again.

Memory cards are (relatively) cheap, so consider replacing the card soon.
