Problem with Toshiba DLP Projection TV Model #52HM84

My family is having an extremely difficult time resolving a problem with our Toshiba DLP Projection TV Model #52HM84. Here's the problem.

The bulb we had in our TV was a couple of years old. The old bulb did NOT go bad; however, we knew it could go bad at any moment so we ordered a new bulb from Toshiba. When we inserted the new bulb and turned the TV on for the first time, the TV emitted a loud and lengthy buzzing sound each time the red light would come on and then the green light would blink. The TV would autmatically try to restart itself the eight times and each time it would emit the loud and lengthy buzzing sound.

We had an authorized service representative check the TV out. He says the TV is fine and that the bulbs are bad. When we reinsert our old bulb in the TV it works fine, which seems to sonfirm his assessment tha thte TV is fine. The problem is that we keep having Toshiba send new bulbs and none of them work. Every single new bulb that Toshiba sends keeps emitting a loud and lenghty buzzing sound and the picture never comes on. The TV goes through the eight cycles, buzzing each time, and never comes on. Every time we reinsert our old bulb the TV works just fine. This is extremely frustrating.
