SOURCE: xerox 7132 noise when picking up paper from bypass

On this model, sounds like the clutches are bound up in the bypass feeder.
These gears are in constant motion with other gears in rotation in the copier.

The mechanical gears on the bypass feeder need to be disabled. The machine cannot be used. The work is involved in order to do this repair job.

If all else fails, Place a service call to Xerox for repairs before other gears get broken, then major problems can occur.

Hello. The Error 11, polygon motor failure is usually caused by the motor controller chip going bad on the mirror motor. We found some of the contorller chips and had them replaced. The refurbished laser units can be seen at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/p-3060-1-116-1110-00-laser-unit.aspx
