SOURCE: unit hums. getting electric but blades
Hi, i,ve got exactly the same problem, did you manage to find a solution?
SOURCE: my saniflow saniplus has stopped pumping water
We had that problem but the unit was built in and I could not get at it, the outlet pipe sounds like it is blocked, I cleared mine by connecting a pipe from the cold tap to the outlet pipe and flushing.
SOURCE: Hi i have a saniplus macerator unit hums but
sounds like an obstructed unit - you would need to remove the impeller cover at the base to check the pump - i'm assuming youve already checked the blade unit at the top (be careful here - i use a screwdriver - not my finger) could be that a simple cleanup and acid descale would be all thats needed. try this first then start looking deeper.Humming indicates motor is ok - but dont let it run continuosly - you dont want to burn out a good motor.
SOURCE: I have a 3 year old Sanivite 3 macerator that has
if the unit is properly clean and you have checked the fuse - then i suggest it is the microswitch that needs replacing. these tend to go (break) within 5 years on the sanivite 3 models. If not the swich then it could be the capacitor (try this first - although as the swich is located next to the capacitor you can test this for operation at the same time). if none of this works then its time for a new unit.
SOURCE: I have a saniplus toilet,
Water pressure makes the unit kick on and off. Water could be leaking from the toilet tank into the bowl and from bowl into the pump. Or the check valve inside the discharge elbow (on top of the lid) may not be sitting properly or is being obstructed causing waste water to leak inside the pump, creating enough water pressure to make the unit kick on and off by itself.
Testimonial: "I took apart the Elbow and cleaned it out, replaced it and the toilet is now fixed. I had previously replaced the flapper. Thank you for the tip!"
