Operators manual My son-in-law just gave me a Navman ICN 510 but without the user manual. Just called your 800 number and was told to go to navman.com/manual which I did and can't see where I can download the user manual or purchase one. I was given a reference number 299320

Bad news I'm afraid. no more maps for this device. But they offer a trade in towards a new device, try and give them a call: 0871 277 0140

Go to the home page and use your USB cord and sign in and you should be able to update.

I go to the manufactor's website and download them from there using a usb cable.

I had this problem when I completely deleted the Backup folder from \My Flash Disk.

Restoring the backup folder allowed the 520 to operate properly again.

It is possible that you have a corrupted APPStartupSec.exe application. Without this file working it appears that the NAVMAN waits in USB mode for ever!

The unit has two temperature sensors that prevent it from overheating - there is one on the circuit board, and one on the back of the screen. Sounds like one has gone faulty!

Your Navman is in Demonstration mode and is demonstrating a route that you have set up. It should be flashing SIM alternately with the time taken on the route so far. 
If you don't want the 'Demonstrator' to operate, you can turn it off. See your manual. If you have not got one, you can download it from the Navman site. 
I only have the iCN510 and I have to go to the main Menu screen, tap 'Route Information', then Cancel Route to cancel the current demonstration. 
To turn off Route Demonstrator from Main Menu  Settings  Routing  next screen  Untick 'Demonstrate Route.
