pl. check the machine base where it stay, it should be plain and firm.
Next check the left side door(test it by pushing inside while making copy). check the fixing assembly and paper path, may be toner clogged on its surface.
If your machine covered more than 200000 A4 copies, check the paper path (guide) at registration sensor and delivery guide at fixing unit.
If the paper jam at paper pickup tray, replace the pickup roller set (2nos.)

Since you have not mentioned the page counter and where paper jam occurs, its difficult to assume more.

This model is known for the poor pressure between lower door and paper vertical roller.

is this problem only when u copy from the tray or even from bypass.if it is from tray only then ur rubber feedrolls needs to be cleaned with simple wet cloth.if it is from both then u have to check the paper path sensor

On display should be detaild description where the paper is jamed. In duplex, in fixing, in cass.,...
If there is no paper picked up - change rollers from cass., if the paper is got out or pass fixing unit, check the sensor flapper in fixing unit - if respond is slow apply wd40 on it or replace it.

12 x 18 is the largest size paper that can be used on this copier. If anything larger is used the machine will jam. The copier uses a series of paper sensors to track and time the paper throughout the printing process. The max is 18 inches anything over that cuase the machine to jam.

1)u must verify which location of the first paper jam occur.
2)pick up unit > feeding >fuser unit> output delivery unit.
3)try to use platen glass for copying instead of using the auto document feeder unit.then u can narrow down the issue.

We finally found all the buttons-levers to push and to pull and were able to remove the paper that caused the paper jam. Thanks for your help Nellie

YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PAPER FEEDING CENSOR. IT COULD BE OUT OF PLACE, BROKEN, A PEICE OF PAPER STUCK OR PULL OUT THE DRAWERS MAYBE PAPER STUCK INSIDE. GOOD LUCK

Just enter the paper stock that you want to use and adjust the guides. The machine should pick up the size if it's in universal cassettes. If it's the bypass, you select 'paper select' then select the bypass and choose the size that you want.

There are several things that can cause a paper jam error, even though there is no paper stuck. The most common is that the paper pickup rollers are worn or dirty, and can't grab paper. Even though there is no paper jammed in the machine, it will show the error message. The solution is to clean the roller with alcohol and a lint-free cloth (don't use paper towels). If the roller is very worn, you will need to replace it.
