The pressure regulator does not have to be specific for your compressor. You just need to get the right line size and pressure range you are needing. You might be able to get one from Home Despot or Lowest, but I would look on Amazon. I am sure you can get it from Grainger, but you will pay a premium price. If you are on a budget, check Harbor Freight if you can.
I believe that m1820is actually the part number for the crankcase. I think it is the same unit as the Dayton brand. Look at this link for a parts list.
Information about your unit can be faxed to you by calling the number below:

It may be easier however to look for the model number of the pump only as the 3z497 reference number is of the the complete unit. Look for model number or information on the pump itself and check that number at www.grainger.com. I believe that you have a two stage pump that may still be sold seperately. Good luck on your repair.
Lee, I'll email you the breakdown. The pump is probably actually a 3Z180, made for Speedaire by Champion. If you are looking for the assembly sticking out of the back of the pump, it is probably the centrifugal unloader, which vents the pressure after the compressor shuts down. You can get the parts from Grainger parts (888-361-8649), or your local Champion compressor distributor.
