The onboard computer/security system probably has a broblem with the fact that it has not been fed properly for quite some time and is still delerious from malnutrition. Try connecting the battery then locking and unlocking the doors with either the remote unit or the door key. This will get the security system to reset.

ok honestly our camara type is a ***** they need the perfect batteries and dosent take just any brand chargeable batteries are a waste because our camera will reject them no matter what try a diffrent brand
it seems the os of your phone shomehow got curropted..first hard reset your phone using.... camara+recording button+power button and reset it with stylus....but you will loose your data stored on phone.....bet data on storage card will be saved........if this solve your problem...thats great...in case if not...reinstall the os on PDA...this will surely solve your problem...

So it seems that you must either keep the battery charged or leave the camera connected to the USB dock (with PC on)!
If your camera is not keeping the time for the 30 hours stated then it's probably time for a new battery.
Does your battery work with regular AA alkaline batteries ? They have higher voltage than NiMH rechargeable. I'm having a similar problem, just discovered today that my camera works fine with AA alkaline batteries.
