Tire pressure should be within 5 psi of the tires recommended max pressure but never higher. All tires have there max pressure stamped on the sidewall of the tire. Never go by the vehicles recommendation for tire pressure, always go by the tire. Some tires have different pressure recommendations than others. 35psi is most common- but some car tires rec. 44psi or more.

How do you unlock a igniiton on a 1998 pontiact sunfire

its possible that you need to try and turn the steering wheel left and right (IT WILL TAKE SOME EFFORT) while trying to turn the key. and you dont need to put pressure on the key , turn it same as you would when starting it normally. you dont want to break the key off.also try and put the gear shift lever up into park at the same time( thats asuming its a automatic with shift lever on the steering colum) somtimes you can get the car to close to a curb or somthing and having pressure on the tires in a less than straight position will get you locked in on the sterring wheel, shift lever and key lock possition . so with one hand pull the steering wheel left with as much pressure as you can and at same time trying to turn key with your right hand.

Fuel and temp gauge not reading!!!

It's a $200.00 part that houses 5 relays and located up under the air filter cover thingy on the driver side front fender area. You can take your car to a Bob Sumeral Tire and they'll give you a free quote and assessment on what's wrong, just in case I'm not right. I just had the same problem with my temperature gauge.

Why is my 1998 sunfire gt eating fuel bad

Believe it or not, low tire pressure will give you really bad gas mileage. It happened on my girlfriends Sunfire. I thought it was a few other things, but when she took it in, the pumped up the tires and we noticed the change right after that! And the air is free! Unless you use a gas station air pump!
