SOURCE: Loading envelopes
To load envelopes that are under 7.87 inches (220 mm) in width in the multipurpose feeder, insert the envelopes with the flaps open and toward the front of the printer. To load envelopes that are over 7.87 inches (220 mm) in width in the multipurpose feeder, insert the envelopes with the flaps closed and the short-edge of the envelopes facing into the printer. You can load envelopes up to the maximum fill line in the tray at one time. NOTE: Make sure set the envelope flaps are completely unfolded. NOTICE: Never use envelopes with windows, coated linings, or self-stick adhesives. These lead to paper jams and damage to the printer
SOURCE: kodak 5300 wont print on glossy side of photo paper
I just sussed this issue out. On the front of the printer tray there is another pull out tray, this opens up and must activate the photo printing for A4 because it stops the paper falling on the floor once printed (cos once printed on photo paper it may still be wet). As soon as I opened the tray (and it then opens again - you'll see what I mean) it printed A4 photo paper perfectly
Hope this helps others

The Kodak printhead is known to dry out. You can call kodak customer
service and complain your printhead is failling explain you have run
the printhead cleaning many times waisting your ink. They should ship
you a new printhead and free inktanks.
or if you dont want to wait on the phone....
I
have found lysol hand wipes to work wonders on the kodak printhead. I
have an ESP 5 and I have wiped the printhead with a lysol hand wipe
many times and it works like new. Here is a link to the product.

To wipe the printhead follow these instuctions.
remove
the printhead from the printer. put the tanks back into the printhead.
Be very carefull not to drop the printhead and do not put the printhead
on a table with the nozzle plate down (where the ink comes out). take
the hand wipe fold it a couple times. Gently wipe the printhead nozzel
plate in the direction of the lines on the nozzle plate do not do a
circular motion or wipe against the grain. you may not even have to use
a wiping motion. you can just place the wipe on the nozzles and let the
printhead soak. this will clear up dried up ink and unclog the nozzles.
put the printhead back into the printer run one printhead clean once to purge the ink and try to print.
I hope this helps.
I
used my printer to do a photo guest book at my sisters wedding it
turned out great (i wipped the printhead before i started all the
pictures look perfect!)

SOURCE: printer fails to feed paper for printing
try gently rubbing the take up roller with a damp cloth - let dry and try with no more than fifteen or twenty sheets of paper in the feed tray
SOURCE: Help with my Kodak EasyShare G610 printer
Have you tried cleaning the paper feed rollers with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth? You'll have to remove the paper try first. If that doesn't work you may have to remove the ink cartridge and tighten the roller. I had to call the Kodak technical support to get help with this. Hope this helps.
