Leaked toner on inside of printer badly. Should I blow it out with compressed air, or call it in under warranty repair?

If under warranty, and you've been Dell recommended toner cartridges, use your warranty.
Dell may tell you to carry out some repair before they do anything.

Compatible refil toner

There are a number of places that make remanufactured/refill toners for that printer. However you cannot use a refill toner for a "like" printer and expect it to work. The 5310 is the same printer as a Lexmark but you cannot use the Lexmark toner in a Dell; they have small ID chips in the toners that have to match make and model of printer plus the size of the cartridge. The 5310's do have 3 or 4 different page count refills. The refills are less expensive than the OEM's but they are still not cheap. OEM cartridge is about $399.00 and I just looked at Amazon and they have them for $190. When you compare prices, compare page count too.

Replaced fuser on Dell 5110cn printer. How do I reset?

There is no way to reset the Dell 5110 fuser 310-8729 (also known as TD218 and other numbers)
The connector in the fuser holds the page count. If you printed 200 pages on a fuser and moved it to another printer, you'd see it follow the fuser.
You may have put a non-compatible fuser, or it may be depleted already, or there is a circuit board problem.

DELL W5300 PRINTER - GETTING THE MAINTENANCE COUNT

It is like your oil light coming on. It means the printer has reached its pages count where they recommend changing the maint kit. (usually new fuser / rollers). If print quality good - let it go - it will work for another 10,000 pages or so. If print quality bad (streaks and rough spots) it needs a new fuser. After replacing the kit you reset the count to zero and it start counting again.
