At 80 degrees on my cooker, eg., I would like it to stay on that energy level with a thermostat, eg. is this possible? The pot is getting hotter and I have to regulate the heat by stopping powerinlet. I would like to leave food unattended for the cooking period. Thank you, Rechta. Prima induction cooker. We have to new bathrooms both with Nuheat Element (AC0057) thermostats 1 is set for 80 and stays at 80, the other is set for 85 and stays between 69-75 degrees. How to get a replacement thermostat ?

Go to either Home Depot or Lowe’s and buy a replacement. Installing said thermostat is a simple two wire affair. Then mount the new thermostat in the same place you removed the old one.

Freightliner columbia wont blow heat into cab have replaced thermostats and heater core blend doors work heater core gets hot and blower works but air from vents only gets to 80 deg

The air from the heater core will be as hot as the coolant temperature of the engine. 80 Degrees is the opening temperature of the thermostat and that will be where it remains until the engine starts to work or the ambient temperature rises.
Thermostats come in a couple of different opening temperatures so check around for one that opens around 85 degrees if you want hotter air in the cab
Another point is to close the recirculating vent door to the cabin as the heater core is trying to heat fresh freezing air if it is open

I have the Haier HWR08XC7 (8000 BTU) and my problem is that I have the thermostat set at 70 degrees, but it stays at 77 or 78 degrees... What could be the problem as the unit is 2 yrs old??

Hi!!

Check your owners manual, probably have unit set at automatic comfort level or some energy saver mode. It should say something on the remote about it.

Good Day!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Engine temp raises prity quick when your not moving. can go to 100 degrees easy enough then drops wen you get going..

this is quite normal for a bike to do this some of the European bikes eg. gagiva and triumph run a little hotter then some of the jappers eg. triumph tt600 sits around 116 degrees (c) but to answer your question make sure your thermo fans are kicking in and out and also check coolant and overflow bottle also oil level and possibly even bleed the water pump and start bike when cold with the radiator cap off and see if the fluid is being pumped (checking if water pump is working) hope this helps buddy im actually a motorbike mechanic apprentice

West Bend 33600 heats to 178 degrees

Im sure one of the thermostats is a high heat thermostat but more than likely the element is covered with lime, I would put some diluted "Lime Away" and let it soak for a few hours then drain it and run clear water through it three of four times.

If this doesn't work for you then I would change the high heat thermostat.

I got this rice cooker as a gift, but will not work.

I had the same issue with my tefal cooker.

It may be that the bottomof the pot is a little bend in and it you can push it out a little, it may then push the thermostat down the required distance

Stay or go slow cooker

most slow cookers have a flexible element in the bottom of the cooker. the porcelain "pot" fits into the shell or outside of the cooker. heat rises so naturally the outside of the pot will heat up after the pot and anything in it heats up. (radiated heat) some have insulation around the inside of the shell to slow down the heat convection but will heat up eventually. that's why they all have phenolic handles. if they didn't heat up then would you need handles?
