Once the date has been stamped on the photo, it's there just like the subject's face or the overflowing trashcan in the background or whatever. You can edit the photo somewhat using a photo editing program, using the same process as deleting any other object in your photo.
You can go to MENU > Setup > Date Stamp to turn it off. Or you can go to MENU > Setup > Time to reset the correct time.

In any mode, press the MENU button. Use up/down to highlight Setup (three horizontal sliders) and press OK. Use up/down to highlight "Date Stamp" and press OK. Make your choice and press OK.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date and/or time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
Turn the Kodak's dial to "Capture" mode. This brings up the camera display. Press the "Program" button behind the dial.
Press the "Down" button until "Date Stamp" is highlighted. Press the "OK" or "Set" button to access the date-stamp menu.
Press the "Down" button to change the selection to "None." This removes the date stamp.
Press "OK" to save the setting. Press "Program" to return to capture mode.
