I have a Kodak Easy Share Z650. The problem is I took pictures without realizing it was stamping with a date, which is not correct. The date is off by a couple of years in some cases. Is there anyway to remove the dates from the photos?

Once the date has been stamped on the photo, it's there just like the subject's face or the overflowing trashcan in the background or whatever. You can edit the photo somewhat using a photo editing program, using the same process as deleting any other object in your photo.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date and/or time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Does the kodak easy share 183 have the date option on the picture

Sorry, it does not put the date/time stamp on a picture. However, it does embed the date/time the picture was taken in the metadata (extra info in the image file beyond just the picture), so you can sort on your computer by date taken.

How to remove time stamp /Date off a picture that has been or will be taken?

For future pictures: In any mode, press the MENU button. Use up/down to select Setup (wrench) and press the OK button. Use up/down to highlight "Date Stamp" and press OK.

For pictures that have already been taken, you can edit them just like any other photo. However, the pixels behind the numbers are already lost. You can erase the numbers just like you can erase a person or a tree, but you won't be able to perfectly restore what was there.

To remove the date/time stamp from your photos, you will have to either crop (cut) it out or use a Photo editing program to remove the date. Good photo editing programs are Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro amoung others.
