Reinstalled os and now pc runs slow, network card does not work?

Try replacing or upgrading your RAM it sounds like your PC is overworked and the bsod is probably a result of data loss due to low ram

There can be several issues for the slow rate and if your PC is scanned for virus or malware it will confirm the case.
Also if there are faults in the operating software the system can be slow and if so the OS must be reinstalled or the recovery is used or also if you can reset it using RESTORE..

Your problem maybe in your OS, you should reinstall it... Maybe your OS was corrupted by viruses... or reformat it much better.

i cant understrand how you got to VGA card
PC ran great before but not after card stuffed in
nor if PC had a card before, then changed it a different card
Some PC have VGA chip on board and need no card. for VGA.
onboard fails, or it and the existing card fails the add 2nd card and it fails.... there is story here you never told.

i found, that it does have onboard VGA 15pin jack
center of read MOBO.
so do both fail>???????????????????????????

try some install disks to reinstall the os
try F8, yes, F8 dead, means the OS is corrupted
needs OS reInstalled, for sure.

buy the disks from HP or 3rd party

wipe the hard drive and stop using it for porn

hello!!! your computer slow maybe some files is missing due to slow performance
or when you virus scan last time some of your files in the drive c are infected by the virus
and the anti virus normally he do to delete automatically whose files unable to repair by
anti virus scaner your best to do to reformat using os/operating system cd, or try upgrade your memory ram...

Since better than half of my customers use a Cable modem and I sell Netgear routers, this ought to be a piece of cake :-)

It sounds like one of your computers is working fine, and the one you reformatted doesn't. Is it Vista and did you get the drivers for the network card? Whovever reinstalled the OS should have done the drivers, but if they didin't, you'll probably have to go to the computer maker's web site and get them for your particular machine.

It's fairly easy to tell, because if you plug a cable into the network card and it either doesn't light up or is not detected, you don't have drivers or you have other issues. If you somehow do, then you can click on the Control Panel and Network and see the LAN card. It will either be enabled, disabled, or not there.

Once you get it to where you can see the network, now you can go about configuring the connection. I'm betting on missing drivers, but if you have any more questions, feel free to comment back.

Hi clean your hard disk thoroughly by formatting it more than once and reinstall the OS and drivers afresh . The Processor nor the Ram or any of the components in computers only get burnt out , they never get degraded slowly so if game was running well before it was because of clean install without the presence of virus or malware.
