Web cams bought a web cam and installed it into my pc. now i am not sure how to get it to work online so i can be seen by the other person. i am able to take pics and vid.

Please remove the web cam and uninstall the driver of the web-cam. now reinstall the driver after the PC was restarted and then connect the web-cam to be detected and installed.
if this wont work then the web cam is faulty- a hardware issue.

asus P5OIJ web cam views upside down. the web cam on skype works great, but the person iam communicating with views me upside down. how can i fix this.

your web cam is not installed into the PC. So have the webccam software driver installed and the webcam plugged in to detect and install. Only then your web cam will be supported with the interactive service.

Hello have you check the cam with another system or check the connection well and make sure the cam is on then reconnect it to the power source and make sure you click on the view webcam to view others persons webcam

i bought web cam ZSMC USB PC CAMERA (ZS211) but lost the installation cd:( Is there anyway I can install the web cam and get it working? Is there any web site from where i can download the driver

If you bought a new 1.3 mega web cam with that a driver cd is available. If you have the driver cd install it first. here is install steps.

1. unplug the web cam if you connected to the system
2. Put the web cam driver cd into the cd drive and install the driver software.
3. In the installation it will ask you to connect the web cam to the system and connect it (Only it ask to connect)
4. After that you can see the image on the web cam software.
5. Adjust the lens which is comfortable to see.

These are intial steps to work the web cam just try it and inform me if you get any other thing

Ok You can plug in your web cam and then go into your control panel to the add new hardware and click on that if you are using Xp make sure cam is plugged in and you are online click the add new hardware icon. That should install the drivers for the cam just make sure you are online. If not can you find the Cd that cam with your web cam? some don't come with one so it should work by doing steps above. If that don't work go into your device manager and see if you notice any yellow question marks, if you see any click on the device it mark is by and go into properties and update make sure your online when you do this. Do you know the model number of your web cam? Is the computer detect a new hardware as you attach the webcam? disconnect first your webcam from PC. If you have CD utilities enclosed when you bought your webcam, then insert the disc in CD/DVD rom and install the driver.( If CD utilities not enclosed, That's the time that you force to go online. go to the website where your webcam make. search driver by inputting your cam model number. download the driver and install. ) after installing the driver, connect your cam and then let the PC Identify it. system will setup it for you.

Best to start from scratch, remove your driver if it's installed from Add/Remove programmes. Although I don't know what you mean by "won't accept any file name"; make sure that you install correct driver for your operating system.
