The dump box goes up, but then comes down before we can spread our load.

It may refer to the ink "overflow" box. When your printer cycles, it will dump a bit of ink which goes into a collection box. Most likely, that box is full and needs to be emptied, replaced, or whatever.

Save money and buy one of those large dome litter boxes. Cut some carpet strips and lay them on the steps where they come out to catch the litter.

Or is it because you don't like to clean the box and have the box do it for you? Sorry can't help you there but return and buy another one / exchange it

Unfirtunately Oki has always had separate toner and drum units.Ususlly the toner won't dump whenyou insert it unless you istakenly opened it up before you inserted it. To clean it up, get a toner vacuum. Don't use a regular one as the toner dust is fine and it will spread all over. **** out all the toner and follow with a toner cloth which you can get at office supply stores. Don't blow air into the printer as you'll spread the toner all over the inside and really have trouble on your hands!

YOU TALKING ABOUT CHARCOAL CANISTER SQUARE THING IT HAS 2 HOSES GOING TO IT.I USED INTERNAL SNAP RING PLIERS WITH FINE TIPS YOU HAVE TO SPREAD BOTH TABS OUTWARD IN THE THE CONNECTOR JUST ENOUGH TO REMOVE CONNECTOR FROM CHARCOAL.DONT OVER SPREAD TABS THEY WILL BREAK EASILY.

sounds like check valve is stuck, could have some trash in your lines, check manuel and remove check valve and flush hydraulic lines. also accuator cylinder may be out, that would be at the lever, may not be letting the oil return

If you can get any panel off of the dryer you will see a leather or rubber joint that connects to the pump. Sometimes the socks that go missing float over the top of the drum inside the washer and get caught in the pump. If the pump joint is not broken you should see it bound up or kinked. Depending on your washer you may be able to remove the drain tube and fish out the blockage.
