This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.

Trying to print on card stock paper and get a paper jam Is there a setting for printing on card stock paper?

Hi Fuller90

Read your issue.
1. Kindly check the thickness of the paper. If the thickness of the paper or the card is more then normal paper, you will experience the paper Jam on this printer model.
2. You can try this step..... Take the Power cable out from the printer.
3. Press and hold down the power button for 35 seconds.
4. Now release the button and then plugin the power cable.
5. Check your issue.

The display says there is a paper jam, but there is none

Sounds like the printer need to be "reset"

Cancel all print jobs.

Disconnect the printer from your computer

Turn power to printer off and unplug it.

wait 1 min, then reconnect printer to your computer.

then plug printer back in and turn it on.

Start your print job over.

Should the paper jam suppossedly still exist, cancel the print job and run the maitenance program off the printers' menu that is stored on your computer.

Start print job again.

Should the problem still exist contact support at Samsung via the links on their homepage.

Good luck.

Printek 8003 printer gets false paper jams when trying to load from any one of the three tractors. We have changed the paper out sensor, edge sensor, power driverr pwa, logic board, and backplane.

Have changed out the Jam detection sensor? That is the black paper guide with a wheel in the center of the assy?

If you have any questions please contact me we offer free technical support and carry all parts for Printek units New and Refurbished.

Everytime I try to print to my PIXMA 9000 I get an error from the print spooler that the printer is not responding. THe print job starts to print, stalls after a few lines.

1. First, clean your printer. Get some spray-n-wipe cleaner and a clean cloth and clean the entire inside of the printer. Also ensure your paper isn't dirty. Now print a test page. Does the symptom persist?
2. Remove all jammed paper. Check the paper tray first. Look closely at the paper rollers nearest where the paper exits the printer; this is a common source of jams. If you’re trying to print labels, they will often jam just before exiting the printer.
3. Try to print a test page. Does the printer still jam? If you can find no source of the jamming, check the printer's message display window and refer to your user’s manual to look up the printer error code.

OR=

1. Check the printer and/or the software to see if "manual feed" is selected. If manual feed is selected, the printer may be looking for paper in another tray.
2. Reseat paper. Ensure printer is on-line. Check for paper jams or obstructions.
3. Likely suspect: paper-out sensor is damaged or broken. Consult a computer repair shop.

Hp 4300 laserjet

Does it jam at the fuser when doing a single print?

These machines have a Maintenance kit required every 200 000 prints, these MK's include all feed rollers, a transfer roller and the entire fuser assy. To replace the kit fixes all issues I've seen in these printers besides when the cartridge affects print quality.

If it is jamming at the fuser on a single print done via the printer operations panel, and your paper is fresh, it could only be the feed roller having trouble gripping the paper or the fuser not turning/stuffed.

Feed Kit, I have my doubts as to this being your problem

Maintenance Kit Fixes 98% of the time

Was is noisy before it died?
I have seen a few with stuffed fuser drive gears but not many and customers could hear it wearing.

How many prints since last MK? via keypad print a configuration page, count is there ie pages since last maintenance xxxxxx

Lexmark 4300 not loading paper correctly

Look down the paper feed into the printer you will see one white plastic roller. Find a cotton bud and soak the end in methylated spirits and poke it down and wipe the roller. make sure you wipe the whole circumference of the roller. This removes any grease that has come off the paper onto the roller and allows the roller to grip the paper better. I have done this once and have not had a recurrence of the problem.
