SOURCE: I have a Samsung LNT4066F. Multicolor lines then normal.
Had this problem occcured after opening of the set or by itself. If so please checck on the shielded connections of the power board. Please make sure your power outlet is working fine and there is full voltage on the input to the power board.open the set carefully by unscrewing the rear panels. Look out for any loose/dry solder joints inthe power board.Use a good low wattage soldring iron to solder suspected joints.Keep the power off and be careful to see that you do not attempt to touch the main capacitors which could have high voltage stored. Next you need to check the drive to the panels, check from the transformers for loose / dry connections, if so resolder. once you have finished, close up the panel and test. If htis wont solve, test the voltages in the power and the drives, the fault appears to be some dry points so look carefully with patience. I hope this advice helps you out. Good day

yes this is due to bad caps I have replace dozens of caps for samsung tv's you can do it your self or have some body do it for you or ship the power board to me
