I think there are 2 causes epson c 63 printer not print problem.
First one is: Your ink cartrige are not install properly.
Solution: Try to install ink cartrige properly, in this time please clean ink cartrige chip as well as connector.
Secoundly: printer main board problem. Print data does not pass through main board.
Solution: Please replace new one.
I think you will relive from the problem.
Thank yoou.
You may need a newer cartridge
See if the printhead has any abnomal markings.
You can compare it with the color printhead.
If the printhead is good, see if the ink is flowing through the printhead.
Fill the ink cartridge to maximum
Squeeze the sides of the ink cartridge, ink should flow out.
If ink is flowing out, remove any excessive ink with a paper towel.
Install ink cartridges, do NOT do any cleaning cycle.
Since your black cartridge is full, cleaning may cause it not to print.
Do some black copy operations.
Clean the ink cartrige and the cartrige carrier with lukewarm water or alcohol on a cotton cloth and then install the cartridge. Even if that does not work then you will have to reset the printer for which turn off the printer and then press and hold power and start buttons for 10-15sec and then release.. Then try it again.
Note : Be sure to install the ink tanks in the correct order indicated by the label on the Print Head Holder. The machine will not print if an ink tank is installed in the incorrect position.
Step 1
Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern.
If lines are missing or if white streaks appear
Step 2
Print Head Cleaning.
If the problem is not resolved after performing Print Head Cleaning twice
After cleaning the Print Head, print and examine the nozzle check pattern (Step 1) again.
Step 3
Print Head Deep Cleaning.
If Print Head Deep Cleaning does not resolve the problem, turn off the machine and perform another Print Head Deep Cleaning after 24 hours. If the problem is still not resolved and if you are sure that the ink didn't run out, then the Print Head may be damaged. Contact your Canon service representative.
Possibly what has happened is that one cartridge has popped out and is hitting the underside of the parking area. In order to avoide damege to the tracking mechanism. make sure the power is disconnected, open the lid as if you are going to replace a cartridge, then with something strong and thin - a 6inch steel rule is probably the best - slide it into the parking area on top of the ink carriage. As you slide it in you may feel the loose cartrige. With a bit of jiggery-pokery (and some luck) you should be able to get the rule above the offending cartridge so that you can press it back down into place - you should hear it click. Withdraw the ruler and reconnect the power and see what happens. I've only seen this happen where 'compatible' cartridges have been used - it rarely happens with genuine carts (I think I've only seen it once or twice). Let us know how you get on.
Did you put a new cartrige the first time, or just put ink in the old one? Ink cartriges dry out. If you let them sit for extended periods of time, you don't save ink, you let them dry out. You can try to bag and wrap them if you are not going to use for awhile and see if they keep longer...but usually you just have to get a new one. I've heard you can put tape over the end of it to keep it longer...don't know from experience though. New carts will usually do the trick though.
Try this: Step-by-Step Solutions and Repair http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=10355 - Maybe you need to clean the print head. Sometimes you have to clean it a few times to get it working correctly (which in my opinion is a waste of ink!) - Might be a bad print head, I have had to replace mine twice now. Just call Kodak, they will have you do some tests on your printer, and then if it's your print head they will send you a new one.
Clean the print head/Control panel>right click on c66 and go to printing preferences>maintenance tab>print head cleaning>do it 3 times and then try to print
Sounds like the print head is stuffed, unrcomical to repair. The print head in epsons is seperate from ink cartridges that you have changed. Printheads are often damaged by inferior inks traveling threw it,
