Open the drawer and take out the box for the grounds. Run a rinse cycle and it should now go back into place.

After removing separate box for grounds, close the drawer completely, wait for the machine to move into place, run rinse, then replace the grounds box and close again. Everything back to normal!

Shut down the machine, unplug it and wait for 1 min or so. then plug it back in and restart the machine. You should hear it go through the reset and then you should be able to push the drawer back in.

Drawer will not go back in for Jura Capresso impressa

For Jura F7 Series, "Tray Missing, can't put it back in". With a small flashlight, look in to the cavity which the tray and grounds container reside in. Along the right side above a slot to the end, you'll see a white micro switch. with a "Tooth Pick" simply press the switch inward (to the right) and hold till the machine cycles the Levcer / Flap up and out of the way.! Put your tray and grounds container back in and begin brewing!! -dh

I cant get the drawer to close. It feels like something is in it's way. The gears sound really sluggish and slow as if there is somthing clogged in it. We do get an E8 message now and then too. At this...

I had the same issue. Had to send it to Jura to be repaired. Cost $235.00 and they cleaned it and sent it back. I was not able to fix it myself. They said there was a major blockage.

I cannot get the drawer to close completely on my Jura E8 in order for the "missing drawer" light to go off. I've unplugged the unit to allow chip to reset... nothing. I think the elevator is...

I have the same machine and this seems to happen if the grounds bin is pulled out before it goes through a full cycle. take both the grounds and water trays out. Try to fit the grounds bin around the "elevator", slide the grounds tray underneath that then the water tray as well. It should slide right in then the machine will complete the cycle and work just fine :)

My dispay on my jura E8 says error 5.

Simple fix - got the machine serviced, needed a new thermoblock apparently, could also have been one of the couple of sensors they replaced. Total cost including box, bits and carriage - £180 plus change.
Expensive but now I have it back, it all seems worth it!

Impressa S7 "Clean Machine"

I had this problem and I solved it by letting the machine dry out overnight. Before I turned it back on I removed the drawer and wiped the area inside the internal flap then I used the pressurized air that you use to clean a computer and blew out all of the residue. It has worked well since then.
