How do I create a playlist for my Coby MP-705 ?

Same here, I bet the playlist you have is the on called "My List." I tried everything, going to 'My Computer', 'Coby Media Manager' nothing works. I think that is the only playlist this mp3 is capable of making. Someone prove us wrong please!

On the MP610 you could use either Windows Media Player 11 or Coby Media Manager for transfers of songs.

Next steps are important for adding files onto the player:
1. The player should be detected in the software for transfers, when connecting the USB cable.
2. Setup your library in the software (Add to library): There has to be a list of folders in the software manager, where your music is located on the computer.
3. Create a playlist in the software: make a list of songs, you want to transfer onto your player
4. Sync the playlist onto the player.

Hello, for media transfers onto the MP705 you can use either Coby Media Manager software or Windows Media Player 11.
(For fitting video, use the Video Converter software on a computer first.)

For the MP-610 you can make playlists using Coby Media Manager.
In Coby Media Manager there's a help section that gives next information how to make playlists:

not all MP3 players have the shuffle option.

Just drag files from Windows Explorer to device make sure that when you open up device that there are the categories: music, pictures, video, playlist. Drag video to video on device, drag ebooks to playlist. Also, confirm this with Coby Media Manager.

You need to do the following steps: 1. While the song is playing, press and hold the joystick button. A screen will pop up. 2. Select 'Favorite (+)'. Once you do this, you should be able to see the song in your 'Favorites' folder.
