The front wipers of my 1998 BMW 528i are not working

Hi angel,

I would recommend first starting with checking the fuse. The fuse for the wipers is located in the glove box. If the fuse checks out ok, I would recommend checking the wiper relay. You will need to remove the passenger microfilter cover under the hood. First remove the filter cover. Then release the tabs holding the delivery tube to the filter housing. The housing lifts up and rotates out out to the side. Under the housing you will find a white plastic cover being held in place with 4 allen bolts. Using a 5mm allen remove the bolts. Once removed, under the cover you will see several control units and fuses and relays. Look for the BROWN relay. That relay is for your wiper/washer system. They do fail after a while. When reassembling the cover. make sure it is seated correctly, if not water can enter the electronics and create problems down the road.

How to change air filter on 2007 honda crv. I can't find where the air filter is.

This is for a 2005 CR-V, but I believe that they are the same.

Open the glove box, remove all contents, and locate the stops on each side near the top of the glove box.

While holding the glove box cover, remove the two glove box stops by gently pressing them from the outside. After the stops have been removed, let the cover hang down and out of the way.

Remove the filter lid from the blower unit by depressing the clip on the left side of the lid to release.

Pull out the first filter. Slide the second filter to the left and pull it out.

Remove each filter from the filter housings and replace with new filter. Make sure that the "air flow" arrows on the filter elements are pointing in the same direction as the arrows on the filter housings.

Install the new filters in the blower unit and reinstall glove box stops.

Hope this helps you.

I need to change the oil on my 94 BMW 740IL. How do I do this? Do I need special tools?

Changing oil in the BMW 740iL is no different than other cars. If you are not comfortable with this find a trusted German Automotive mechanic to do it for you.
You will need a large socket to remove the oil filter housing cover. The BMW tool is expensive. You can use large channel lock pliers with a smooth jaw or place a small strip of cardboard (like cereal box) over the teeth on regular pliers so you don't damage the cover.

I cannot seem to find the air filter on my 320d bmw

Hi FTjoe , the air filter on this vehicle is located under the upper engine covers on the left hand side of the engine. to gain access to this item you will need to remove, the microfilter housing ( held in by 4 x t27 torques screws, upper engine cover (held down with 5 x 6mm hex bolts and the small engine cover a the back of the engine 2 x 6mm hex bolts. remove the air intake trunking that sits on the front slam panel and goes to the air filter housing by meens of a flexi square pipe, once this is removed you will need to remove the air filter cover 5 x 6mm hex bolts, then you should be able to replace the filter, once fitted all removed parts are reinstalled in reverse order, hope this is of some help, regards mark.
