Dim LED display on oven

The capacitor on the back of the display is failing. Heat warms up the gel inside it. The capacitor can be replaced by an electronics tech or you can buy a new control board display..

Remove the display and on the back you will see a capacitor. It needs replacing.

when they are dim like this,it needs replacing as its a driver chip that drives the readout and illuminates it you can send in the board for rebuild or purchase outright,as they dont supply any component specs to repair the control panel

Hello Friends! This dimming vacuum display is either caused by a power supply failure with the control board, or a the filaments of the display themselves have started to wear-- similar to that of a bad light bulb. can you hear audible tones form the machine when trying to set?? and just hte display has dimmed( amore normal complaint). all functions are working just the clock/display has dimmed to non readable state. if thats the issue youll need to replace the display part number 71003424 retails for about $165

the digital display on my jenn-air oven, model jjw9527c...has gone completely out. i am very efficient in wiring and electronics and would have no problem fixing it myself, just not sure which parts i need to order. Please return this with a solution, holiday season is very close.....thank u

there is a dispay kit you can order from bosch to fix this problem. it will come with a new display board and power control which is located behind control panel as well

Unfortunately this is a bad display, and the kit to fix it (comes with new display board and power/relay board) is about $270 for the parts, and if you cant put it in yourself expect to pay an additional $120-$220 depending on rates in your area. Wish I had better news, but I see these (and Dacors) do this frequently. Hope this helps.
