I assume you mean by road. You'd take I-65 north to the outskirts of Nashville. If you do not want to stop there, take I-440 to the north-west around Nashville, then I-40 North to rejoin I-65 out of the Nashville area.
Just north of Nashville take I-24 heading north-west and follow that into Kentucky. Once over the border follow I-24 past Paducah into Illinois. Then join I-57 north to Champaign, and take I-74 north-west. This takes you toward Bloomington. You can go round Bloomington on I-74 but leave that road to the east on I-55, then north-east.
Follow I-55 through Towanda and Lexington, past Pontiac, and Odell. To the north of Dwight, you'll see 2 signs for the turnoff on State 47 to Morris and Dwight. Take this Exit 220, then turn north on State 47.

State 47 takes you north through Mazon and into Morris over the Illinois River.
