Dishwasher wont turn on

please provide the model number of the dishwasher so that I can identify the type of lid seal it is using. Usually the lid seal actuator motors are stuck and prevent drawer from opening. You could force it open with a slight tug. Otherwise turn the mains power off and on and see if it makes any difference. Need to check the lid seals for damage otherwise it may leak in future and cause flood switch to trip.

dishwasher wont turn on. power is ok. when you turn the dial with the power switch on it clicks motor turn on pumps do not turn on wont fill or empty power light does nnot light up latch seems to be fastening proper is there a reset switch

It is nothing to do with the extension lead you are using, sounds more like a board problem to me, or another fault causing the lights to flash.

Press and hold the heat dry button and it will turn off, so dishwasher is usable again.

One thing these guys did not point out is to turn the knob to STOP before starting this procedure (otherwise you will be ignored) Once done this works fine.

Before rectifying the problem you must:
- Turn the programme selector to the "Stop" position.
- Switch the dishwasher off using the "On/Off" button.

gfi outlet went bad tried to reset it wont work replaced out let work fine

make sure the supply tap is turned on

reach inside your d/w and jiggle the mushroom shaped float switch located on floor of d/w. should move freely up and down if its stuck up(or something lodged under it your unit wont fill with water

Unit will not turn on..had this unit for 6 months..worked fine..all of a sudden wont turn on now..checked power and connections..all were good..im stumped..just wont turn on.
