I have a HP dc7600 small form pentium4HT 3.4 GHZ with 1GB of Ram. What type of RAM do i need to max this machine out safely?

Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 4GB
Slots: 4
Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*
*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory.
icon_note.gifAlthough the memory can be installed one module at a time, the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules. When using PC2-5300 parts the maximum memory is 2GB. When using PC2-4200 the maximum is 4GB.

I purchased a Coby 4 GB MP3 Player. It stated that it will hold 2000 songs but became full at 500. Did I download incorrectly?

When it says 2000 it means that it can hold 2000 songs, considering that each song is 2 MB. So, 2MB * 2000=4000MB=4GB.
So your songs were much larger than that.

My windows system is windows 7 professional ive even checked it on xp still it shows 2mb instead of 8gb why?

if you have 8GB RAM you have to use a 64 bit version of the operating system to recognize it correctly.

Purchase 5 new verbatim 4gb when i plug it into pc the system found new hardware and installed . then it allow me to used two of the drive. when i plug it in the pc a msg appear, u need to format the disk...

You have to format the drives. If you put data on the drives using computer 'a' whos OS is MacOS and then you put the same Drive into computer 'b' which has windows, it may not recognise the file system/structure.

Can ixus700 upgrade to use 4gb memory card?

The ixus 700 is only specified to be compatible with SD memory cards (and MMC cards). The protocol for SD cards only covers up to 2MB. Cards of higher capacity are the SDHC (high capacity) protocol, but this protocol did not exist when the ixus 700 was introduced. As far as I can tell, there is no way to upgrade to be compatible with the newer protocol.
