Two things come to mind,
The sinks were installed out of balance and way over tightened causing a constant stress on a warped surface, or a foreign object was left under lips of sinks. If they were purchased and installed at the same time you could have received damaged merchandise.

SOURCE: deep scratches on blanco granite sink

The only way to fix scratshes and chips from a granite surface is to use a sander. You would be safer to have the company thet installed it, resurface it. They have the proper equipment.

SOURCE: Is an acrylic sink durable and stainproof?

Acrylic sinks can stain too. I would go with a cast iron sink if you don't want to worry about stains. Acrylic sinks tend to scratch if your not careful.

SOURCE: Remove the base of a pedestal sink.

There are two bolts on either side of the sink. Remove them and lift the sink off of the base. Sometimes, depending on who installed it, you can slide the base out without removing the sink. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Can you install a garbage disposal in a corner undermount sink

Are we concerned about the distance between the bottom of the sink and the bottom of the cabinet?

I have installed a lot of disposals on under-mount sinks and I have found the the Badger company has a 1/3 hp unit that is quite short. It may seem a bit small but we need to remember that disposals are not made to chop wood.......1/3 is plenty strong for a person who uses their head when shoving food sown it. Their 1/2 hp unit might also work.

They are available at Lowes and Home Depot for around $60.

Hope this helps

I have a glacier bay granite composite sink with a limited lifetime warranty. The sink now has a crack and leaks. What do I do and is it covered?

Your best bet is to check your warranty or just go to your local Home depot store for help with this question since they distribute those products. A Bit of caution - warranty covers defects in manufacture or longevity concerns. They do not cover abuse - so if you dropped a sledge hammer on the surface and a crack developed you are SOL.

Fuel flooding into engine ducati 750ss

Hi Greg, if this model has carbs, (I didn't see the year mentioned) the float or floats stopped floating so to speak. they can develop leaks or cracks so they sink in gasoline which allows the fuel to flow into the engine unimpeded. Or the small needle/seat that the float opens and closes is damaged and leaks.

Drill a small hole 1/8 to 1/4 inch in the medal of the knockouts and and use a taperd punch., put it in the hole and hit it with a hammer.
Be gentle and good luck.

Recently bought ex-display bathroom sink /unit.discovered cracks to underside of sink.can you recommend a repair solution?

I have to presume the sink is made of china and there is no repairing of china. There are two kinds of cracks, hairline from some sort of impact, and shrink. While the hairline crack can be visually disappointing, if it does not extend through the drain hole area it is a safe bet that the lavatory can be installed and used normally. A shrink crack resembles the cracks of a dried up lake bed and rarely cause any problems no matter where they are located. Rarely does not mean never.

I need a repair kit for a cracked silgranit sink

Hello., Yes definitely. Go to any home depot or hardware store and have one of the clerks show you the assortment of adhesives that will work on your problem. The fast drying clear resins and the one minute clear epoxy both work great.
