Camera was working fine one day and the very next day the camera turns on, lens comes out and display goes blank beeps lens error, restart camera. I can turn camera off and the lens goes back in. When I turn it back on I get the message again. Only thing I can see is maybe the lens looks a little tilted, but still goes out and back in fine.Camera repair store wants $179 to fix. Is it worth it? I have had the camera for 3 yrs. now.

I have the same problem. How do you restart the camera. I have pulled the battery and SD card, but can't get to a menu screen to restart to camera.

We had the same problem after my wife accidently dropped ours. I disassembled and reasembled our camera, after assuming that the lens was not recognizing that it was closed, hence the error. I can try to fix your camera for $50 and you pay all shipping charges.

I dropped the camera on the table a couple of times, twisted the front of it. Suddenly the lens retracted into the camera, the beeping quit, and now I can take pictures again. The Samsung website is horrible.
