Check the obvious. Is it powered up? Is it connected to the computer? Is it set as the default printer on your computer? Uninstall then reinstall the printer driver. Is the printer feeling peeved 'cos you've let it run out of ink!!?
is there an ok button on that error message? if so just click on OK button and click on a button says manual.
It will let you check on the settings on the printer. paper size should be A4.
on print settings it should let you select on cd/dvd
Note: this only works if you have installed the epson easy print from the epson.com website of your printer model

(but briefly: press the 'size' button, use the cursor keys to select the size and press enter. There are only 2 sizes (small and normal) but these can be combined with 3 widths)

Are you simply printing onto a4 paper for jewel case inserts or do you mean actually printing onto the CD.
