My records do not indicate that they are compatible but are unclear, there may be some special connector used, none is listed however. Although if the cd changer is not a direct plug in, you can use an FM modulator. This device plugs in between (or wireless ones sit near) the antenna and radio transmiting a signal of it's own usually around 88.5 or so. Your cd changer or any other audio device plugs in to the modulator and it transmits the audio signal via an FM radio station. You then tune in your radio to the designated frequency and you're done. The only problem is weather or not your cd changer has a controller built in to facilitate this type of install.

I have a Panasonic CQ-RX400U and I need to hook it up to a 1992 Ford Taurus and I need cables to hook it up and the thing that holds it in place in the dash.

I would get an stereo installation kit from Auto Zone or a local automotive audio store. It will come with the surround for the new stereo to fit where the old stereo went, and a wiring harness to hook the new stereo up to and plug into the existing car wiring.

Error saying MUTING LV 0

Hello da_redhot_su,

Make sure that the "MUTE" button on the upper left of the volume control is operating properly. Sometimes a button will get stuck.

If that does not work, there's something wrong internally and you need to take the receiver to your audio dealer for repair.

Hope this helps.
