My computer will not acknowledge my tomtom go 720 is plugged in to usb connector power light is on in charging cradle but computer says not connected

I had the same problem. I tried uninstalling software and re-installing it. That did not help. I reset my TomTom Go 720 with the reset button on the bottom of the unit. The computer then recognized my TomTom.

TomTom 930 GO will not connect to TomTom Home

Try to use another computer or another usb port for it. You could also try different usb cable that fit´s into tomtom´s connector.

How can I reset a TomTom to its original factory settings thereby resetting a forgotten password?

In rare cases, your TomTom device may not start correctly or may stop responding. If this happens, try resetting your device. A reset does not delete any data.

Blackberry 8830

Hi There,

The phone you are trying to connect are not listed in this list here
http://www.tomtom.com/phones/compatibility/devices.php
one thing you can do, look for a phone in that list, if it does not connect to your tomtom then there could be an issue with your tomtom bluetooth.

if it was connecting before and you updated to version 8.300 then again it may be the application version that can cause the issue.

Thanks,
Pabs
