Iron quit working in less than 1 year.

I purchased a Shark Iron from Target store about 2 years ago. the iron caught on fire and Target did nothing about replaceing it . I notified the Shark company and it was replaced via US mail. Now this replacement iron has stopped working. WHY would I wany another Shark iron ????

I ONLY HAD THIS IRON 6 MONTHS AND IT HAS ALREADY STOP WORKING THEY NEED TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE !!

you prolly have a 1 year warranty, return it to walmart or they will have the address of the local repair depot or contact shark for the local repair depot they use

I purchased a Shark Iron from Walmart in June 2009. It stopped working on Monday, February 1, 2010. Is it still under warranty? And if so, how do I go about getting a new iron or repairs to this one?

Take it back and see...most appliance carry a one year warranty...

You could try the store but I don't think you will have any luck. I buy most of my electrical items from one local store, so if I have lost a rec eipt they can look it up on their system. I recommend a Phillips Steam Iron GC 4430 Don't buy an iron from a supermarket.
