SOURCE: Dell Latitude D620 - Screen shows boot up, but then goes blank
Here are some easy things that can sometimes resolve this
problem:
1) Sometimes there can be a static buildup on the mother board. Power
off, remove the battery, remove the power cord and hold the power button in the
on position for at least 30 seconds.
2) If that didn't work- Power down, remove the battery, remove the Hard Drive
and memory modules and reinsert them. Try to power back up
If these things don't work, get back to me for some more ideas.
Hope this helps and have a super day!
