Is well known that elitegroup motherboard have this problem, try it to dissasemble another time yor matherboard, let it out of case reasemble pieces out of case switch on and look if the system is stabile or not, if it is, prior to put *********** board to the case put under the mainboard aplastic film then mount in the case, this must solving your problem, if even out of case the system is reseting disconect any devices and let ontly floppy drive on it with ram and processor too , download from internet newer version of your bios and make it a new flash from floppy drive, this mut resolve your problem definitely to you. in any case dont forgt to put plastic film under mainboard(withaout scotching them or sometthing like this) and mount it in his place.

Acer 5742g Beep at boot up

I have a problem that looks like this one.

At boot up, after the POST, each time the HDD led blinks, the laptop produces a loud "beep", and refuses to boot, as if this phenomenon prevented the HDD to be read.

If I press the power button, it stops beeping. When I release it, it starts beeping again.

If I press F8 at the beginning and then ask for a normal boot, It boots normally. Anyway, in windows, I have some strange activity, like I would continually pressing Alt+Tab. If I press Esc, it stops immediately and then all seems to work fine.

Any clue?

Asus g51j overheating

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

My compaq presario sr1000 computor won't stop beeping from the inside and it says no signal on the monitor

1 short beep and 1 long beep means its a memory problem.
Shut down your computer, then open your computer case and replace the memory module. If you have 2 or more modules ,try starting the pc with one.If it fails, try a different single module.

2 short beeps and 1 long beep repeating for 5 times means its a graphics card issue.
Shut down your computer, then open your computer case and unplug the graphics card, then plug it again. If this doesn't help, try with a different(confirmed working) graphics card.

HP desktop that shuts down after 15min.

Usually when this happens it is due to the thermal monitor in the cpu telling the system it is overheating. This can be caused by a weak or worn out cpu heatsink/fan. I would recommend replacing the heatsink/fan assembly with a new one making sure to use a good quality thermal grease between the heatsink & cpu. Reassemble and see if that fixes the problem. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Beeping with no boot up

Beep codes mean something has gone wrong with the computer. Beep codes most likely happen for: Memory, Processor, Motherboard.

Try reseating the memory in the computer.

Constant beeping while attempting to boot up

There is probably an issue with the RAM. Take the RAM out and put it back in see if that fixes it. If not then take it out and if you have 2 sticks of RAM put only one in at a time to see if the computer will boot on either stick. If that still does not work then most likely either all of your RAM is bad or there is a problem with the motherboard.
