Need manual with the schematics for the wiring of a club cart. Can't go forward and there is prob a wire loose. do not have a owners manual with cart. we've had this situation before but only with the reverse. there was a loose wire to the battery, i guess, and we just want to have something that we can at least troubleshoot before calling someone to pick up and return the golf cart.

Need to know what year the club car is. No drawings are in the owner's manual and there are no free service manuals available.
But all is not lost, try buggiesunlimited website for downloadable wiring diagrams. If you still have problems I can maybe help lead you through some trouble shooting steps. email is [email protected]

Club Car cart will not move forward---works fine in reverse
check the forward/reverse switch. Possibly a loose wire. Unhook the battery and go to each wire and verify it is connected properly. Then reconnect the battery.

You have the motor hooked up in reverse, you need to switch the two wires leading to the motor in order to fix it.

I replaced the fwd / rev switch on my Club Car 1985
I recently replaced a F/R switch and just happened to write down which wires went where so maybe I can help. The front switch ( closest to front of cart) green/white wire to top contact, white/black to bottom.
Middle switch red/white to top, orange to bottom.
Rear switch green to top, black to middle and white to bottom.
