My camera is a light pink sanyo camera. it is also 8.1 mega pixels. i like it a lot but it doesnt work anymore. it does turn on, but then it just turns right back off. i think it might have gotten sand inside of it because i put it in my bag for a sleepover and that had sand inside of it and i put it in that pocket. i dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there is sand or grit in the mechanism, then it will be uneconomic to repair it. Replace it, and be more careful in the future - sandwich bags are a useful invention.

well if lense stuck in your neighborhood there should be a camera store you should take it in and have your cam. serviced for a clean
the other thing could be memmory card is full
or the camera is on but just not like the light or focus check all above

I thought my pink sanyo VPC-5500 was messed up, but once I imported my pictures and viceos onto my computer, I opened up a vidoe player and the sound worked perfectly. So if you have the USB cable, hook your gigtal camera up to your computer and import what's on it, then you will be able to open up a video player and watch a video that was stored on it.
