Please, install the Olympus ib program which originally is on the internal memory of the camera, or install the better and free Olympus Viewer program. It will automatically install the needed driver for the camera. I use the latter program on my notebook and pc and both are using Windows 7 (64bit) and it works splendid with the Olympus SP800uz.
Normally if you just connect the pc camera to your computer , it should start to install the needed drivers automatically ... try that to see if it works (if you cant find it , it will be in my computer)
if not : if it doesnt , insert a cd that you recieved with it and install programs from it if cd is not included : go online and search you make and model drivers and download then install the needed driver (drivers are like softwares tht is needed to run your camera )
The web camera requires a program that recognises features, and provides windows opportunities to allow captures of pictures or movies. Acquire a new camera program an to a driver. The computer requires a program usually to function, requesting a driver is not achievable in this situation.
Hi everyone... I have the installation disc which contains the driver for the Cyberpix s 511s digital camera. In order to use the web cam feature on the camera, you need to install this driver. I uploaded the driver to my 4shared account so that anyone that does not have the installation CD will be able to use this camera. Also, if anyone needs the other programs contained on the installation CD, (Photoimpression, Videoimpression, Directx 9), post the question and I will check back. If there is a request for these other programs, I will add them to my 4shared account and post the download URLs here. By the way, I will post the Owners Manual for this camera as soon as I am finished with this posting. To download the driver, click on the link below and click on it. You need to go on line to the manufacture and download the VISTA driver for your camera and then follow this info to install.

Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you
to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

2. when the pc identified the camera and recommended to locate the driver, select locate and install.
3. after instalation done, restart the pc.
I bought this camera off ebay. I do not have any software for it. I cannot get it to transfer pictures to my computer. I think i need to install a driver. It is a Sharp 3x Optical Zoom Digital Still Camera VE-CG40. Where can I download a driver?
