I have a Go Gear KA/02 (4GB). How can I program it to play tracks in a set order in a folder? Or at least to play them in the numbered order (e.g. 01-09). Play Mode offers Repeat and Shuffle, neither of which I want. I've turned both off but I still seem to get tracks played in random order. Thanks.

The order is not random it just appears that way..
The order they are copied seems to be the order they are played.
It looks at the ID tags no the file names.
The way I load my songs on are using Media Monkey or Windows Media Player 11.. I create a playlist then Sync it to the Sansa.

I don't know about the problem with the repeat setting but can suggest a software download (If there is one) but, i do know that the headphone problem is an wiring fault with in the jack port for the head phone. The only way to repair is to open the MP3 player and solder the componants back together. i am havin the problem of all the file have become corrupt and the player will not load properly or slowly or not at all. It has also deleted some of files and i was wondering if anyone knew how this problem can be resolved?

If your Matsui is working suggest you leave well alone -- I've been looking for utilities (new firmware, reflash utility and firmware extractor) and it's all very confusing.
Apart from the ghastly menu system the only problem I've had with mine £8 ($16 used from a flea market) is that Win XP's data write-behind feature means that XP merrily suggests that file transfers are complete when the player is still digesting the files. If you interrupt this by mistake XP stops responding or complains that data has been lost.

if listening to a playlist shuffle is disabled. If just playing from the music file shuffle options should be available
