That is the error for a bad sensor assembly. This is about $30 from a few sources.
As an example (I have no idea how close this may be to you)

It requires a bit of work to replace. Most of that just getting everything apart. Maybe an hour or two if you do it. If you aren't handy with a screwdriver any shop can do this as well.

SOURCE: Error message CH 24.

We;ve managed to clear this error, at least for the last 5 days. Remove the bucket, and reach up behind the front panel where there is a filter- ours was covered in dust. After cleaning this off, and resetting the machine (by pulling the electric plug out and re-inserting), the error went away.
Your mileage may vary.

Lg dehumidifier ch 67 error

Thanks for the post by Posted by Bill L on Jul 14, 2012.
I decided to take a chance and order the new Sensor assembly $20.50 and install it in my LG LD651EBL Dehumidifier which was giving me ch 67 errors. Wala, it worked, the error code is gone and the dehumidifier is now working perfectly! Thanks

I have a brand new LD651EBL. Picked it up this morning. Just plugged it in. Keep getting the CH 24 code. The bucket is all the way in. Is there a fix or do I need to return it?

There may be some packing material left in the bucket or tape that is holding the float valve in place. In which case, the float valve may be in the UP position, which tells the unit, that the bucket is full.
Check the top of the bucket for the float valve and make sure it's in the DOWN position. Reinstall the bucket 'squarely" in the bucket holder and making contact with the bucket safety removal switch on the rear wall of the bucket holder.

If this continues to happen, consult the Troubleshooting Guide in the Owner's Manual.

Hope this helps and thanks for choosing FixYa.
